One of the unique things about our Made for iPhone® hearing aids is that our TruLink™ Hearing Control app provides you with the ability to create customized memories that can be geotagged to specific locations. But what if you forget to geotag the memory or name it vaguely? What if you create the memory onetime and then forget how it operates?
This is where the Memory Summary helps! A nice way of reviewing your hearing devices’ personal settings, Memory Summary has all the information about both your programmed and personalized memories. The memories programmed by your hearing professional will be under “Hearing Aid Memories,” while the memories you create using SoundSpace™ will be listed under “TruLink Memories.”
If you notice in the images above, each memory will show whether or not a specific geotagged location is assigned. If one is assigned, a map will appear (see “Coffee Shop” above), and if not, a box with “location not assigned” will be present. In the second image above, small icons to the right of the unique memory name indicate whether or not the memory has been designated as an automatic memory or not. For example, the phone icon means that memory has been chosen to automatically turn on for phone calls. The musical note icon means that memory has been chosen to automatically turn on when streaming music.
You can always change what memories are designated as automatic. Simply follow the below steps:
- Tap the information icon to the right of the memory name.
- Choose “Automatic Memories.”
- Tap “Select” for whichever setting you’d like the memory to automatically work for (i.e. Phone, Audio, Car).
