Eden Prairie, Minnesota (July 10, 2023) – Starkey’s Genesis AI, Evolv AI, and other 2.4 GHz hearing aids will be compatible for direct pairing and bidirectional audio streaming with several Mac* devices this fall when macOS Sonoma is released. This groundbreaking accessibility enhancement will help individuals with hearing loss to hear better and live better.

“Starkey continues to push the boundaries of accessibility and improve the lives of individuals with hearing loss,” said Achin Bhowmik, Chief Technology Officer at Starkey. “With Made for iPhone hearing device support coming to Mac, Starkey’s hearing aids can empower individuals with hearing loss to experience enhanced connectivity, improved communication, and a more inclusive digital experience across their Apple devices, such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac.”

Starkey is committed to partnering with renowned technology innovators like Apple to deliver groundbreaking accessibility to those in need. With the diminishing stigma surrounding hearing aids and the decreasing average age of hearing aid wearers, it is crucial to provide accessibility options to fit the modern work and leisure space.
