Starkey Serves as Gold Sponsor of Audiology Australia Conference

Eden Prairie, Minnesota (June 3, 2021) – Starkey is proud to serve as the Gold Sponsor of the Audiology Australia 2021 Conference, ‘Audiology at the Cutting Edge: Connections for a Reimagined Future’. The event, which is being held at seven locations across the country, began on May 20 and ends on June 4. The conference offered flexibility to “choose your own adventure,” with participants having the option of joining the in-person event at the location(s) of their choosing or tuning in online.

As a Gold Sponsor, Starkey participated at all locations, setting up learning hubs. Starkey Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D., Chief Innovation Officer Dave Fabry, Ph.D., and Chief Health Officer Archelle Georgiou, M.D. were featured speakers, covering a range of topics from artificial intelligence and machine learning to integrated health management.

“We’re honored to join our Australian colleagues in advancing hearing healthcare innovation in the name of serving our customers and their patients better than anyone,” said Dr. Bhowmik. “As we emerge from this global pandemic and the world begins to slowly reopen, reconnecting patients with the people, places and things they love is more important than ever. Our technologies make that reconnection more seamless than ever.”
