Proper storage of
your hearing aids

What to do with your hearing aids when you aren’t wearing them.

When not on your ears or in use, store your hearing aids in a dry, preferably cool place — away from heat and moisture.

If you have rechargeable hearing aids, your charging station is the ideal storage spot, and can be plugged in next to your bed on a nightstand or dresser.

If your hearing aids have batteries, ask your hearing professional about a dehumidifying box for storage. These boxes are designed to safely remove moisture and keep hearing aids safe and dry. Always leave open the battery door to turn your hearing aids off and preserve battery power when not in use.
