Activating Edge Mode

Edge Mode conducts an AI-based analysis of the environment to make immediate adjustments designed to improve speech audibility issues caused by background noise and even face masks.

To use this feature, you first need to set it up in the Thrive Hearing Control app:

• Tap on the Settings icon in the navigation bar
• Tap on Device Settings
• Tap on Tap Gesture
• Turn Tap Gesture on
• In either the right or left device, choose Edge Mode

Here’s a step-by-step video of the same process

Once set up, you can turn on or activate Edge Mode by tapping the hearing aid you selected (right or left). You should hear an alert telling you Edge Mode is activated. It will stay activated until you change memories or restart your hearing aids.
