#HearingFactFriday: Lots of older adults have hearing loss

The World Health Organization (WHO) has a goal: “to build a better, healthier future for people all over the world.” It also has an enlightening booklet that’s all about hearing loss. You can download it as a pdf by going here.

The cover of the booklet says, “Millions of people in the world have hearing loss that can be treated or prevented.” Among those millions are one in three people above 65 years of age. That’s thought to be up to five times higher than people below 65.

Did you notice the phrase “that can be treated” in the booklet cover? The WHO recommends people treat hearing loss — and we can help you get started. Just call 1-888-908-1845 or click here today.
