You are not alone

This January, we're rerunning some of our favorite hearing-related cartoons. Why? Because humor is a good thing to have in Minnesota.

If you’re new to hearing loss — either dealing with it yourself, or you know someone who’s beginning to lose their hearing — it’s easy to think you might be in a small and rare group. After all, hearing loss is not something that’s obvious just from looking at people, so it’s easy to assume not many people are living with it.

But the truth might surprise you. Hearing loss is actually very common. For older adults, it’s the third most common physical condition they live with, after arthritis and heart disease. To see just common it is, check out our Hearing Loss by the Numbers infographic.

You might also be surprised to know that treatment for hearing loss is readily available — and proven to help in most every case. Want to know more? Call 1-888-908-1845 or click here and one of our experienced Hearing Care Specialists can answer all your questions.
