- Do know that tinnitus can be managed even if it cannot be cured.
- Don’t believe what you read about tinnitus being cured by herbs or supplements. Management via sound therapy and even hearing aids are two of the most highly recommended ways to treat tinnitus.
- Don’t forget that tinnitus can be a symptom of something else, so it is important to have it checked out by a professional.
- Don’t forget about things that can aggravate tinnitus like caffeine, lack of sleep, stress, and even aspirin.
- Don’t think you are alone! One in six people deal with tinnitus.
- Don’t forget about hearing protection! Loud sounds and environments can trigger tinnitus and make it worse.
