Three fathers share their hearing loss stories

With Father’s Day just around the corner, who better to share the importance of treating hearing loss than three men who made the life-changing decision to get hearing aids.

Better still, we asked them to share it with the people most affected by their hearing loss — their adult children.

Leah & Gordy

For Gordy — who lost his hearing after a lifetime of hunting, flying planes and working in an auto body shop — hearing aids have helped him be more social and perform his job better. His daughter, Leah, has noticed other benefits, as well. Watch Leah's interview with Gordy.

Karissa & Dennis

Dennis isn’t the only one in his family who wears hearing aids — his daughter Karissa does, too. See why they became closer (and “funnier”) thanks to their shared challenges, and why Karissa now can’t imagine life without her hearing aids. Watch Karissa's discussion with Dennis.

Adam & Randy

With his hearing aids, Randy no longer feels “on the outside” or isolated — especially when it comes to interacting with his son-in-law Adam and his granddaughter. Being a part of conversations has made all his family relationships stronger. Hear Adam and Randy in their own words.
